Loma Linda Concrete, lomalindaconcrete.com, contact@lomalindaconcrete.com
Accepting these terms
These terms apply when you use the Loma Linda Concrete website, call us, send our contact form, accept an estimate or have our crew work at your property. By doing any of those things, you agree to these terms.
If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site or book work with us. A signed estimate or written contract for your job can add to these terms, and where the two differ, the signed document for your job controls.
What we do
Loma Linda Concrete is a concrete contractor in Loma Linda, CA. We build driveways, patios, sidewalks, steps, pool decks, garage floors, slabs, footings, foundations and retaining walls, and we also do stamped and decorative concrete, concrete cutting and foundation raising. You can see what each service involves from our home page.
The information on this site is general. It explains how concrete work usually goes, but it isn't advice for your property. What your job needs is set on site and written into your estimate.
Estimates and pricing
We give free quotes on site, and asking for one doesn't obligate you to anything. An estimate is based on what we can see and measure that day, including the size of the area, the slab thickness, the finish you choose, access for the crew and equipment, and any old concrete that has to come out.
Some conditions only show up once the old slab is broken out and the ground is open, such as soft or wet soil under the slab, buried roots, debris or pipes. If we find something that changes the work or the price, we'll stop, show you, and get your approval before doing extra work. Estimates are good for the period written on them, because material and hauling costs change.
Permits and site access
Some concrete work needs a permit from your city or county, and the rules differ from place to place. Your estimate will say who is responsible for any permit your job needs.
You agree to give our crew safe access to the work area on the scheduled days, to tell us about any sprinkler lines, utilities, septic parts or property lines you know about, and to keep pets, children and vehicles away from the work and fresh concrete.
Scheduling, weather and cancellations
We'll give you a start date when you accept the estimate. Concrete depends on the weather, so we may move a pour if rain, high wind or extreme heat would hurt the finish or the strength of the slab, and we'll tell you as soon as we know.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please call us at (909) 760-1346 as early as you can. Once materials are ordered, delivered or the site has been dug out, you'll be responsible for costs we've already paid for or work already done, as described in your estimate.
Payment
Your estimate or contract sets out any deposit, when payments are due and the ways we accept payment. The balance is due when the work is finished as described, unless your contract says otherwise.
If a payment is late, we may pause further work until it's paid. Any change you ask for after work starts is added to your total once you approve it.
What concrete can and can't do
We're licensed and fully insured, and we stand behind our work. Satisfaction is guaranteed on every job, and any specific warranty on your job is the one written in your estimate or contract.
Concrete shrinks as it cures and moves with the ground under it, so hairline cracks can appear even on a slab that's built right. We cut control joints, which are planned grooves that give the slab a place to crack in a straight line, but we can't promise a slab will never crack. Color, texture and stamped patterns also vary from batch to batch and won't match older concrete exactly.
Apart from what's written in your estimate or contract, our work and this website are provided without other warranties, to the extent California law allows. Damage from settling soil we couldn't see, tree roots, drainage changes made by others, heavy vehicles beyond the slab's purpose, de-icing salts, poor upkeep or use before the concrete has cured isn't covered.
Limitation of liability
To the extent California law allows, Loma Linda Concrete is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, such as lost use of a driveway, lost income or inconvenience, connected to our work or this website. Our total liability for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that California law says can't be limited.
Resolving a problem
If something isn't right, call us or reach us through our contact page first, because most problems are settled with a site visit and a conversation. We'll look at it with you and tell you what we'll do.
If we can't agree, either of us may suggest mediation before going to court. Any lawsuit about our work or these terms will be brought in the courts of San Bernardino County, California, unless the law requires a different place.
Governing law
These terms and any job we do are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the version on this page is the one that applies when you use the site or book new work. A job you've already signed for stays under the terms that were in place when you signed.
If you have questions about these terms, you can learn more about us or get in touch through our contact page. We reply within 1 business day.
